The Twitterverse teed off on the Denver Broncos' ineffectiveness in Super Bowl XLVIII. Take this troll from Heinz Ketchup, for example.

It turns out that it is possible to take a shot at the Denver Broncos’ offense without muttering the word “Omaha.”
The Broncos’ dismal offensive performance during Super Bowl XLVIII set Newark Airport up perfectly for a nice little zinger the morning after the big game. Whereas it took Peyton Manning most of three quarters to get on the scoreboard on Sunday, Virgin Airlines...
Whenever a team gets blown out in a big game you have to point the finger at somebody. While it seems like Peyton Manning is the obvious choice his offensive lineman Orlando Franklin thinks otherwise. “It’s unfortunate that a lot of people are going to try to put it in on ’18′ because he doesn’t […]The post Broncos lineman says “Don’t blame the game on #18″ appeared...

For at least seven years to date I’ve argued that Peyton Manning is the greatest quarterback of all time. His playoff record might not have displayed it, but his resume, filled with awards and statistics, did. However, with the Broncos getting thrashed by the Seahawks in the Super Bowl Sunday night, I’ve finally backed-off of my stance. Manning does not belong in that conversation...
When a game ends with a score like 43-8, it’s never about one play. But if you did want to identify one play that demonstrated what Super Bowl XLVIII was all about, you might go with Kam Chancellor’s tackle on the Broncos’ first pass.
That pass, a completion from Peyton Manning to Demaryius Thomas, was nothing out of the ordinary for Denver’s offense. But while the Broncos...
The Denver Broncos were destroyed by the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night, but did they fight until the finish? While the Broncos put together one nifty drive late in the third quarter that ended with a Demaryius Thomas touchdown, their team effort looked as poor as you will ever see in […]
Super Bowl XLVIII was a dud, with the Seattle Seahawks steamrolling the Denver Broncos to the tune of 43-8. For Seahawks fans, that means they were able to go out and celebrate their big win with friends and family, while the Broncos faithful were left on their own to drown in their sorrows.

After their crushing defeat to the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker and running back Knowshon Moreno both have big decisions to make in a little over a month. With both set to hit free agency, they will likely have plenty of suitors for their services after both enjoyed great seasons in year two with Peyton Manning.
One of the teams that...
Denver's Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is one of three HBCU products participating in Sunday's Super Bowl. ESPN rolled out a timely ‘This Is SportsCenter’ ad shortly after the Seattle Seahawks throttled the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night. In the ad, the Broncos mascot, Miles, has to honor his big game bet and don Russell Wilson’s jersey all week.
Obviously, ESPN had to make two versions of this commercial – you know, in case the Broncos actually showed up...
The Denver Broncos were routed by the Seahawks, 43-8, in Super Bowl XLVIII. Fans and media on Twitter reacted with appropriate snark.
Coming into Super Bowl XLVIII much of the talk centered around the Denver Broncos’ high-powered offense going up against the stingy defense of the Seattle Seahawks. When the game ended it was evident which unit was better, atleast on Sunday. The Seahawks dominated the Broncos on their way to a 43-8 victory and first NFL championship.
Kam Chancellor just dominated Peyton Manning in the Superbowl. The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Denver Broncos. This interception is amazing that words can’t describe it. Could Tebow have done better?
So as it turns out the Manny Ramirez botched snap in the beginning of the game was a sign of things to come for the Broncos. Twelve-seconds into Super Bowl XLVIII the Seattle Seahawks got themselves on the board for a two-point safety and never looked back as they routed Peyton Manning and the Denver […]
