Former NFL star tight end Aaron Hernandez is seeking to delay proceedings in a Florida lawsuit until a murder charge against him in Massachusetts is resolved. Hernandez's lawyers filed the postponement request Tuesday in federal court. They say it would be legally unfair to Hernandez to permit the lawsuit to continue while he is defending himself in the shooting death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. Hernandez has pleaded not guilty to Lloyd's slaying and weapons charges. In the Florida lawsuit, 30-year-old Alexander Bradley claims Hernandez shot him in the face after they argued at a strip club in February. Bradley seeks at least $100,000 in damages. Hernandez was released by the New England Patriots when he was implicated in Lloyd's killing. He previously starred at the University of Florida.

'Now we're murderers' T-shirt mocking Patriots is for sale in Pittsburgh

A T-shirt for sale at a place called Yinzers in Pittsburgh is emblazoned with "New England: We used to be cheaters, now we're murderers" on the front.  It's a crude reference the Aaron Hernandez murder case and takes liberties with clumping the rest of the Patriots team in with the accused killer. He’s been worse for the NFL than Mike Vick’s dogfighting and Ray Lewis accessory to murder allegations times...

Kenbrell Thompkins Could Exceed Already High Expectations in Patriots’ Offense (Video)

FOXBORO, Mass. — It would have sounded crazy to say in April, but there’s at least a chance Kenbrell Thompkins comes away with 1,000 yards this season. As the de facto “X” receiver in the Patriots’ offense, Thompkins should be able to come...

Pittsburgh Retailer Shows Lack of Class With New Patriots T-Shirt

I get being fan sometimes means antagonizing the opposing fan base. When I was going to school in New York I loved to make fun of the Jets and Giants fans (this was back before Jerry Jones messed up the Cowboys). Even now I love to roast the Jets and their never-ending drama. However, I firmly believe there is a line that you don't cross--and the Pittsburgh retailer that created...
