Vikes RB Adrian Peterson suffered a devastating knee injury early in the third quarter against the Washington Redskins. I’m no doctor of kneeology, but I’m pretty sure Peterson suffered a couple of torn ligaments in his hinge, which is pretty bad when you make a living with your legs. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it looks as though the cart he was driven off the field on was piloted by none other than recording legend Stevie Wonder.
I must say, that’s very progressive for FedEx Field to hire the legally blind to drive the carts used to take injured players to the dressing room. Early reports indicate that Wonder was able to deliver Peterson to the Vikings dressing room without incident. A Christmas miracle as it were.
OK, so that’s definitely not Stevie Wonder, but you have to admit that the guy driving AP off the field is as close to an identical twin to the Motown singer as you will ever see.
Compare Wonder’s doppelganger to this picture of the real article…
