Found September 28, 2012 on Cleveland Sports 360:
Pat Shurmur has a guy the Browns used their number one draft pick for, his name is Trent Richardson. He can make some big plays if he can get the ball in his hands. Yet the Cleveland Browns have only handed him the football 26 times in the last tow games. That is how many times he should be getting the ball per game. Richardson has shown if given the chance he can make things happen. Yet Pat Shurmur refuses to let Richardson have the chance to show why Tom Heckert used the number one pick to fill the void Cleveland had in their backfield. Richardson only had 12 carries in the Browns loss to the Bills and he only got 14 carries against the Browns divisional rival Ravens. Sure throwing the ball down field for big gains looks pretty,  but it doesn’t help the Browns offense control the pace of the game when Weeden throws 27 incomplete passes. If the Browns would have handed half of those incomplete passes to Trent Richardson he would be getting the number of touches he should be gett...

Browns not down despite another loss

Browns coach Pat Shurmur isn't down despite his team's 0-4 start and he's seeing positive progress by his young roster. Cleveland remains the AFC's only winless team following a 23-16 loss at Baltimore on Thursday night. Given little chance, the Browns stayed close to the Ravens and had a shot to tie the game late, but rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden threw an incomplete...

Shurmur On Browns Q.B. Weeden,When You Really Make Progress Is When You Lead Your Team To Victory.

The Cleveland Browns head coach says he sees some progress in rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden, but he said, When You Really Make Progress Is When You Lead Your Team To Victory. It is obvious Weeden has progressed to the point of leading his team to victory yet. The Browns are the only team in the NFL  that is off to an 0-4 start. The Browns have now lost their last 10 games in...

Trent Richardson ready for Ravens

The physical running style of Trent Richardson is what we love and hate about him. It is what makes him successful, but it is also what limits him in practice and puts him at risk of an injury on a week to week basis. He suffered a minor knee injury this past week, but is back on the practice field and appears ready to take on the Ravens in this weeks Thursday night showcase. The...

TNF: Richardson En-Trent-ches Himself As A Top Running Back

Trent Richardson entered like a Lion and came out a Liger in his first matchup against what is considered to be one of the most intimidating matchups for star Running Backs.  Some of you are going to tell me he didn’t do a great job because of his YPC.  Well I’m here to tell you he out-did Rice in that area 3.4 to 2.7.  And by the way, am I the only one who wants a YPC petting...

Browns report: The catch that wasnt made

BEREAGreg Little caught four passes for 77 yards against the Ravens, but he will be remembered for the one he didnt catch. With 4:45 to play in the game and the Browns trailing 23-13, Little went high into the air in the end zone and couldnt come down with the pass that wouldve made it 23-20. Instead, Phil Dawson kicked a 52-yar d field goal to make it 23-16. You dream and go...

Cleveland Browns plagued by offensive line problems

Welcome to the NFL, Trent Richardson. Welcome to the NFL, Brandon Weeden. This ain't Alabama. And this ain't Oklahoma State. The two former college all-stars were drafted onto possibly the worst team to end up on. Richardson came from Alabama, where he lined up behind lines full of four and five star recruits. Now they're lining up behind guys that are fairly new to the...
