Bay Sports Report:
Has Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen finally awoken from his yearlong slumber? Terrelle Pryor is finally getting some reps with the first team offense today. We all saw what Pryor can do for the Raiders against the Bears on Friday, as he scrambled his way to a big game. Pryor immediately turns Matt Flynn’s Bed & Breakfast looking offense into a dynamic one with his presence alone. Rookie Menelik Watson is finally healthy enough to take first team reps with the offense as well. Watson was the most athletic offensive lineman in the draft so his presence will immediately upgrade the offensive line, and hopefully keep the atrocious Alex Barron on the bench.
If Pryor and Watson really become the starters, you can throw away the preseason tape, because the Raiders offense has become a whole new beast. While still raw, Watson has the athletic ability of a man half his size. Like most of his British brethren, Watson first focused his athletic ability on soccer, but he also tried out boxing and basketball before finally settling on football. No one thought Watson would play left tackle so soon but the injury to Jared Veldheer has forced the Raiders hand.
The athletic Terrelle Pryor has had some electricifying plays in preseason, which make the prospects of him playing a full 60 minutes exciting. Don’t expect Pryor to be a barn-burner right away, but he should make this young Raiders team must watch TV. Offensive coordinator Greg Olsen has shown that he has designed pistol and read option packages for Pryor, which will bring the Raiders offense into the 21st century. One can only imagine what Pryor and McFadden can do in a read-option offense. Teaming Pryor with the athletic Watson also opens up possibilities of Watson running down field and pancaking defenders as Pryor scampers behind him for a big gain.
We can only hope that Dennis Allen has finally opened up his eyes to see that Pryor is the Raiders only option at quarterback.

Yesterday I touched on DJ Hayden’s performance against the Chicago Bears in my game recap . NFL.com used the right words to describe his performance. “Uneven.” Friday’s results were mixed. Hayden whiffed while trying to tackle Alshon Jeffery on third-and-1, allowing the Bears wide receiver to plow for 22 yards on Chicago’s opening drive. Hayden made up for it three plays...
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen has decided to rest Matt Flynn due to a sore arm from lingering tendonitis and to start the dynamic young Terrelle Pryor Thursday night for the final preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Allen did not deny that after Flynn’s awful performance that Pryor now has a large chance to start if all goes well Thursday
As the preseason...
Raiders head coach didn’t like the way Matt Flynn played during Friday night’s preseason game against the Bears. On the other hand, Terrelle Pryor impressed him with his performance.
“I think obviously we have to look at it,:” said Allen, via Raiders.com. “I think when you look at it I don’t think Matt [Flynn] played well in this game. Obviously, I thought Terrelle...
After Friday night’s preseason game, Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle believes Raiders quarterback Matt Flynn has lost his confidence.
Besides Flynn’s lack of arm strength, he’s also had lack of vision in preseason. & whether its Seattle history or OL, confidence looks shot

With Terrelle Pryor looking good lately, Flynn...
I’ve been fairly down on Pryor’s prospects as a starter this offseason, mostly based on his training camp performance and the fact that he is still a project at the QB position, a fact he readily admits.
I’ve also been vocal about saying I thought Matt Flynn could be a serviceable starter as he’s shown the ability to be accurate when given time to go through his progressions...
Scott Bair of Comcast Sports reports that QB Terrelle Pryor took the first team snap during Sunday’s practice before it was closed off to the media.
Head coach Dennis Allen mentioned that Pryor offered the team a spark during Saturday’s preseason game. Matt Flynn put together a disappointing performance overall while Pryor was able make some plays.
Flynn’s poor field...
Oakland wideout Rod Streater suffered a concussion in Friday night's game against against Chicago.Fantasy Spin:Streater has been the Raiders' most consistent receiver in training camp and could become the go-to receiver ahead of up-and-down Denarius Moore. Streater averaged 70.2 yards per game in the final five contests last season. He has two weeks to recover and still play...
For the third time this preseason the Raiders made their case for why they could be the worst team in football. At one point Friday night they trailed the Bears 27-0 in the first half and the starters -- on both sides of the ball -- looked overmatched for much of the evening. That includes quarterback Matt Flynn who was 3-of-6 for 19 yards and two interceptions.
The Oakland Raiders have reportedly cut former Browns return man Josh Cribbs according to Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune.
Cribbs terminated as vested veteran. Simply never recovered from knee injury.

Cribbs signed with the Raiders this past off season after he and new Browns management could not come to terms on a new deal. The...
The Raiders knew it was going to be a gamble bringing in Josh Cribbs after knee surgery. And on Sunday the team conceded it was a gamble that wasn’t going to pay off. Like any wager placed on the Raiders to win the Super Bowl.
Cribbs was among the first 10 players the Raiders asked to turn in their iPad playbooks on Sunday as they try to pare down the roster to the 75 player limit...
Chicago running back Matt Forte was in mid-season form, rushing six times for 76 yards and catching two balls for 33 yards and a score.Fantasy Spin:Temper your enthusiasm slightly - it was against the Oakland Raiders' defense. And Michael Bush scored twice from inside the 10-yard line. Still, he's healthy and running well.
According to Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com, Terrelle Pryor took the first team reps during practice for the Raiders.
Just kicked us off the practice field, not before seeing Pryor take first team snap in team drills #raiders

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports believes Pryor can win the the starting job in Oakland.

We already know that Matt Leinart will work out for the Bills after they are running out of warm bodies. Now reports are that the Jets are unhappy with their QB situation (shocking) and will give the for Heisman winner a look according to a PFT report:

The Buffalo Bills have signed infamous former “golden boy” Matt Leinart to the roster, in order to provide depth in addition to rookie E.J. Manuel and second tier QB Kevin Kolb. After a standout career as a USC Trojan, Leinart has managed to play for four different squads; as his NFL career has been a huge disappointment, especially after becoming the 10th overall pick in...
