Fresh off a complete beat down of the Indianapolis Colts, the Houston Texans now have to start thinking about protecting their chance of winning the AFC South division for the first time in their history. The Texans dominated the Colts this afternoon 34-7, spoiling the debut of veteran QB Kerry Collins. Houston nearly controlled the ball for two-thirds of the game and held the Colts to converting only one of nine third down opportunities. The Texans were able to overcome the loss of RB Arian Foster in the lineup this afternoon, but the Texans have suffered another loss on the offensive side of the ball, WR Kevin Walter. As it’s being reported this evening, Walter is going to be out 10-12 weeks with a broken shoulder suffered this afternoon. Walter has been a solid number two receiver playing opposite Andre Johnson.
