New England Patriots
So we're only two weeks into the new NFL season, and most activity has slowed down, despite some notable names still available. So the time has already come to assess where the New England Patriots stand after Free Agency. They've been very busy, despite the lack of well known faces coming in, and a very noticable departure. But have we gotten better or worse, and which positions will we be looking at in the Draft?
For a team with a settled 2012 QB situation, the off-season has been rather busy for the Patriots. Tom Brady extended and restructured (if you had forgotten), which is obviously brilliant. We keep Brady, and we get more wiggle room in the coming years - perfect. There was also a lot of talk about Ryan Mallett being traded to the Cleveland Browns, but this hasn't materialized yet, and rumors have certainly died down, which is wise in my view - Mallett is the future, so why trade him away for a 2nd?
Danny Woodhead is gone. He is mu...

Hard living tight end Rob Gronkowski has seemingly divided his time between the nightclub, the trainers table and the operating room.
That is the picture that his actions have painted although no one’s life is that easy to box up and describe.
Gronk has confirmed to that he underwent a third surgery to get his left forearm right after it was injured in the 2012-13 run.
One of the main reasons we know Rob Gronkowski is a genuinely goofy guy is the awkwardness he displays during interviews. Those of you who think he does stuff like this strictly for attention are wrong — that’s just Gronk being Gronk. Don’t believe it? Look no further than the New England Patriots tight end’s attempt at anchoring SportsCenter alongside Chris McKendry on Wednesday...
New England Patriots tide end Rob Gronkowski was a guest on Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio and gave an update on his rehab after undergoing surgery for a third time on his forearm.
“I’m doing a lot better, definitely. Feeling a lot better. My arm is feeling way better than it was during the playoffs and regular season when I broke it,” Gronkowski said, per ESPNBoston...
Jeff Demps made one thing clear during a recent radio interview: track comes first.
Demps suggested in the interview that he would not be able to join the Patriots until midseason due to his track and field career. The former Florida Gator announced last month he was returning to track.
“Listen coach, I want to do both,” Demps said when asked by David Baumann of Sports Talk Florida how...
Don’t expect to see Rob Gronkowski performing DDTs, powerbombs, piledrivers or choke slams on TMZ.com anytime soon. The Patriots tight end is back to being all business.
Gronkowski went through the ESPN car wash on Wednesday with appearances on SportsCenter and Mike and Mike in the Morning, and he was giving all the answers the Patriots have taught him since he was drafted in...
Back when Tom Brady signed his extension around the beginning of March, Patriots owner Robert Kraft told Peter King that the Patriots were going to "spend to the cap."
So far, the most expensive players they've signed have been Danny Amendola and Sebastian Vollmer. The biggest name they signed might be Aqib Talib. With the Brady extension in context, some Patriots...
Good afternoon and Happy Wednesday, PatsNation! We're now 2 weeks into the NFL Free Agent Frenzy, but the energy has certainly died down a lot. In my last article, I mentioned that there was a need to sign some new players that could help improve the depth, as well as re-signing some old players that have already made a positive impact on the field for the Patriots.
Rob Gronkowski took time away from the New England Patriots practice field (and the nightclub) to host an episode of SportsCenter.
BY NICK ST. DENISSebastian Vollmer spent two weeks on the free agent market before returning home to Foxborough. But the New England Patriots, who re-signed Vollmer to a four-year deal Monday, aren't taking him back without conditions. (photo: Jack Newton, Flickr)According to Mark Garafolo of USA Today, Vollmer can make as much as $27 million under the new contract. However, ...
In general dancing with your shirt off or hanging out with porn stars, won’t hurt your rehab. GRONK just needs to be careful and not fall on the dance floor. He will be fine, similar to James Harden he may party hard, but on the field he is always ready to play.
Here is what he had to say about people, that are worried about his partying ways.
“They’re my fans. They’re looking...
Robert Kraft isn’t the richest NFL owner, but he’s made the Top 10.
Kraft is worth $2.3 billion, according to SportsBusinessDaily, which is good for eighth richest among NFL owners. Seahawks owner Paul Allen leads the list at $15 billion, followed by Rams owner Stan Kroenke at $5 billion and Dolphins owner Stephen Ross and Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer, who are tied at $4...
ESPN going to change the name to GronkCenter
Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski is doing the rounds at the Mothership in Bristol. Gronk dishes on what the process for the NFL draft is like, his health, dealing with the spotlight, Roger Goodell’s focus on player safety and more…SportsCenter could use a little Gronk to mix things up.
Rob Gronkowski On The Catwalk
Gronk In His Yearbook
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski had the pleasure of doing the ol' Bristol Car Wash today as part of SportsNation's Madden cover vote. As an added perk, he got to sit behind the anchor desk with Chris McKendry for the live open to the 11 AM ET episode of SportsCenter. The result was like watching a botched "This is SportsCenter" commercial as Gronk introduces...
