At 3:25 central time the Green Bay Packers will kick off the 2012 NFL season against the San Francisco 49ers.

Some things to watch after the ball is put into play today include; Will the Green Bay Packer offense continue to put points on the board at the same rate they did last year?, Who will Aaron Rodgers throw the first touchdown pass to?, Will the first score be a pass or a run?, Will Aaron Rodgers continue to run as much as he did during the preseason?, How much improvement will we see out of the Green Bay Packer Defense? and Can the Packer defense get a shut out in the first game of the season?

On the other side of the ball it looks like San Francisco 49er running back Brandon Jacobs will not be on the field for the game against the Green Bay Packers this afternoon. Brandon Jacobs is still battling a knee injury which as hurt is playing time during the preseason. It looks like the rest of the key players for the 49ers are ready to play today.

In a few hours we will get some answers to these question and finally get to see what the 2012 Green Bay Packers look like in a real game situation.
