The Indianapolis Colts are facing a “running back controversy.” You know, like a QB controversy, just for tailbacks. There are some major issues there now with Ahmad Bradshaw going down, and out for the season. Trent Richardson is terrible. We all thought the Indianapolis Colts in that trade. At least I did. Turns out it was actually Cleveland fleecing Indy on that one.
Richardson may just turn out to be a huge bust, as he’s averaging less than three yards a carry. The Colts worked out Kevin Smith yesterday, and they signed former Ohio State Buckeyes back Daniel “Boom” Herron. When you’re looking at Boom Herron, you’re desperate. Maybe the San Diego Chargers run defense is what will cure the Indianapolis rushing attack.

About that run defense, they are 24th in the NFL. And their secondary is right down in the dregs with them, ranking 27th. Their base 3-4 D features a...

Because of the Indianapolis Colts placing Ahmad Bradshaw on Injured Reserve and waiving Robert Hughes, they signed RB Daniel Herron and LB Andy Studebaker. With the loss of Ahmad Bradshaw and the release of Robert Hughes, the Colts were left with just 2 halfbacks and a fullback. They were very thin. On Wednesday, the Colts signed running back Daniel Herron off the Bengals' practice...
After mulling over his options, Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw has decided to undergo surgery on his neck, a procedure that will end his season, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw will have neck surgery, source confirmed. His season will be over. Team hoped it would heal on its own. It did not.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 8, 2013When...
Indianapolis Colts running back, Ahmad Bradshaw, has opted to undergo surgery on his neck ending his 2013 season. What started as a promising beginning in Indy, is ending sooner than anyone would have guessed. He will end the year with 186 yards, while averaging 4.5 YPC, and two touchdowns over three games.
The Colts new early that while Ahmad played well, that he was not the running...
Last week: 14 (+6)
Either the Colts are a legitimate Super Bowl contender this season or the Seahawks still struggle on the road like last season (when they lost in Miami, St. Louis, Arizona, and Detroit). I think it’s a little bit of both. The Colts are a completely different team from last year. They didn’t deserve to win 11 games last year, but I was dead wrong...
The Indianapolis Colts are already the pseudo-champions of the NFC. They have won at San Francisco and beat visiting Seattle last week. The 49ers and Seahawks opened the season as NFC Super Bowl favorites, and Seattle still is at 11-2 to win the conference.
However, the Colts are, of course, in the AFC, where the offensively unstoppable Denver Broncos reside and are 5-1 overall...
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Running back Ahmad Bradshaw’s season has ended, as he was placed on injured reserve by the Indianapolis Colts today and will undergo neck surgery, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Bradshaw was picked up by the team as a free agent back in June. He was signed to a one-year deal, in an effort to bulk up […]
The Indianapolis Colts head to San Diego to take on the Chargers in this week's edition of Monday Night Football. The Colts have made a meteoric rise since the disasterous 2011 season that saw the team fall to a 2-14 record after quarterback Peyton Manning was unable to play the entire season due to a neck injury that required surgery. But all that changed at the 2012 draft when...
Concluding the Week 6 NFL schedule will be the Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers on “Monday Night Football,” which looks as if like it’ll be a high scoring contest. The Colts (4-1) will be coming into Qualcomm Stadium with a little more swagger, after a big win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5. The Chargers (2-3), for the time being, will be trying to get things...
Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is no stranger to comebacks. In Indianapolis’ 34-28 win against Seattle on Sunday, Luck led Indianapolis to 11 fourth-quarter points as the Colts came back from a 28-23 deficit.
After man-handling the 49ers and the Jaguars, and winning a tough contest with Seattle, the 4-1 Indianapolis Colts head west for Andrew Luck’s Monday Night debut against the San Diego Chargers. The Colts need to stay focused for this game, and not focus too far ahead to the monumental showdown against the Denver Broncos. The Colts will need to do three things to make sure Andrew...
The San Diego Chargers have signed defensive end Lawrence Guy off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts.
The Chargers host the Colts on Monday night.
Guy was waived by Indianapolis on Monday. The Chargers released defensive end Jarius Wynn on Tuesday to make room for Guy.
Guy was a seventh-round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2011 and spent his rookie season on injured reserve...

This week’s KIAF NFL Power Rankings have the Colts squarely in the hunt for the title of Best Team in the NFL. Their performances over the last three weeks have all been statements to the rest of the league as to what kind of team this could be.
Let’s see what the KIAF Writers Top Ten looks like this week.

Indianapolis Colts (4-1) at San Diego Chargers (2-3)
I was dead wrong about the Colts this season. In my defense, the logic was sound. The Colts were not an 11 win team last year. 7 of their 11 wins came by a touchdown or less against a team that finished with a record of 7-9 or worse. They had a terrible offensive line and defense and finished the season 25th in DVOA, which I think...
Coming into this National Football League (NFL) season, I was one of the people who didn't think the Indianapolis Colts could build on what they did last season. For those who might have forgotten, the Colts made the playoffs with an 11-5 record after going 2-14 in 2011. After 2011, the team decided to part ways with franchise quarterback Peyton Manning and replace him with Andrew...
