There are two things in New York that are bigger than Rex Ryan’s waistline.  The first is his ego and the second, his mouth.  The often outspoken New York Jets’ coach is often described with words such as brash, arrogant, or flat-out obnoxious.  Love him or leave him, call him what you will, but at the end of the day Rex Ryan is a winner, and so are his Jets. At 5-3 the Jets sit atop the AFC East in a virtual three-way deadlock with the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills.  Nine weeks ago as the NFL regular season kicked off it wasn’t hard to visualize the Jets in a tie for first place come Week 9.  After all, Ryan had again predicted a Super Bowl season for Gang Green and his team was coming off its second consecutive AFC Championship game.
