The experts believed Miami Dolphins were going to have a poor run as there are no stars on their team. However, with Ryan Tannehill, the quarter back on the team, they have been able to stay up there. A week ago, he threw two touchdown passes and the team was able to turn back continuous scoring threats from St. Louis. Miami won the game despite the team was outgained 462 yards to 192. Let’s see why he is important for Miami to reach the play-offs this season. A rookie at quarterback The Dolphins took a big risk, by giving a chance to this young rookie. There are high chances of such a move not working out as being a quarterback requires a lot of confidence. However, the story has been different in case of Ryan. He has gotten better with every game he played so far. In his first game, he had no touchdowns and three inceptions, while the improvement can be seen from his two touchdowns against St. Louis. He is passing of age, and has a completion percentage of around 60% for the season. The team has the potential to grow with him If you look at the team, the Dolphins have no star players at the wide receiver position. Ryan Tannehill has done a great job in the absence of a star in that position. In the future, he can even give out more to the team if the fins buy a star wide receiver to support Ryan Tannehill. He has more to deliver It would be too early to consider him the best quarterback the NFL league, and some of you may consider it an illusion as well. However, what he has done so far looks promising. If he continues in the same way as he has been doing this year, there is no reason he can’t be ranked among the best in the team, and surpass his ranking of the number 8th overall pick in the NFL Draft this year. He has made himself someone that the team can rely on, and Miami Dolphins tickets are being sold in good numbers, which means Ryan has support of the fans. There are still 7 games to play for Miami Dolphins. The defense has been able to step it up after the first 7 weeks. The last 3 games against the Bills, New England Patriots and New York Jets can decide play a huge role in the playoff hunt.
