I was very reluctant to use the word 'slump', because it is hard to consider a run to the Super Bowl to be a complete and utter failure. Even still though, the Patriots have not won a Super Bowl since 2004. Since then they made it to the big game two more times, but ultimately fell just short of the grand prize. The following question was raised on NFL.com, 'Tom Brady-Bill Belichick legacy hurt by latest playoff failure?'
A few analysts voiced their opinions and basically they go as follows;
