The Atlanta Falcons signed DE Osi Umenyiora for a 2 yr contract for $8.5 million.  Osi Umenyiora played for the NY Giants 2003-2012. He played college ball at Troy State. Osi Umenyiora will fix the Falcons pass rush this season. The Falcons cut DE John Abraham last month to make some room to add a bigger and faster pass rusher. The Atlanta Falcons had problems in the front line in 2012. The team needs a better DE so they can stop quarterbacks like Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers. Osi Umenyiora is 31, he had a career high 14.5 sacks in 2005. Last season he had only 6 sacks. He had 55 tackles, five were losses, and one forced fumble. He started 4 games last year that will change in 2013. I hope he can make a big impact on the front end. The Falcons have Kroy Biermann, but with Osi Umenyiora, the line looks a little beefier.  Osi Umenyiora will bring experience to the defensive line.
