PLAYERS: Tony RomoTroy Aikman
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Admit it. You knew it was coming. Everybody in Dallas did. Everybody everywhere did. As the score got higher, the game got wilder, and more people...

  • I think Tony is better than Aikman. The performance against the Broncos is one for the ages. I still get chills thinking about that game. It would have been even nicer if we won but we kept coming back and never gave up.
  • Tony great like him very much but, he's no Troy one of most accurate Quarterbacks in the league. he won three Super Bowls. Tony Still has a lot to prove until Tony over comes the winning of a playoff game and getting into super Bowl and winning a super Bowl game. He can not be compared to a Troy Aikman.

Tony Romo headlines Week 5 standout performers with a shot to repeat

Here I am again taking a look back at another week of fantasy football with a list of what I like to call “Standout Fantasy Performers.” from the NFL Week 5. I’m going to try to be consistent and stick with the same theme. We’re not necessarily looking at which players had the overall best week – although I won’t stray from the subject if necessary – but players who...

When Tony Romo gives you lemons, ask for a shot glass. Duffy’s Irish Pub is offering their patrons an amazing incentive to root against the beleaguered Dallas Cowboys quarterback on Sunday night when he goes against the Redskins. The Washington D.C. bar announced the intoxicating deal on their Facebook, “Everyone wearing Skins gear gets a free shot of Jameson each time Tony Romo...

The Tony Romo Story: The Ups and Downs of a Career Choker

The Dallas Cowboys' star quarterback, Tony Romo, is getting a lot of accolades this season as an early MVP candidate for his accuracy, touchdowns and lack of interceptions. There is no simple answer to give because...

One Stat Shows Romo Isn't the Problem with the Cowboys

The Cowboys are off to yet another middling start to the season, sitting at 2-3. There is already whispers of this season being more of the same. Same owner. Same uninspiring head coach. Same quarterback. Yes, when it comes to the Boys, that trinity is the cause and solution to all of the Cowboys problems. After Tony Romo had an excellent day on Sunday, throwing...

CQBR: Tony Romo spectacular in Week 5 — and loses

Football is one of the most complex of team sports, so it should go without saying that a quarterback can’t carry a team on his own. Every unit has to pull its weight. Strength or vulnerability; which characteristic did the Broncos display in their win over the ...

Great football teams beat the opponents they’re supposed to beat and limit mistakes against other top-tier teams. Then, there’s the Denver Broncos. Against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, the Broncos were able to absorb the best the Cowboys had to offer, yet it still wasn’t enough for Dallas to overcome the Broncos’ offense. Peyton Manning had an off day too. He threw...

Should the Cowboys Stick With Empty Set?

Against the Denver Broncos this past Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys seemed to permanently work out of the shotgun with just Tony Romo in the backfield. Even close to the goal line the Cowboys tried to spread the Broncos defense out.Offensive coordinator Bill Callahan and head coach Jason Garrett knew that in order to beat the Broncos, they would have to be aggressive. It seemed to work...
