The New Orleans Saints’ offense was dynamic in their wildcard win on Saturday, but something should be said for how well their defense performed. Granted they gave up 28 points to the Lions’ offense and did everything they could with Calvin Johnson, but they made the big plays down the stretch when it mattered. Specifically, Jabari Greer came up big in the fourth quarter and helped the Saints secure a victory in the NFC wildcard game. Greer, who only had 1 interception in the regular season, made 2 pivotal interceptions in the fourth quarter. Greer made an amazing catch for his first interception with 9 minutes and 43 seconds to go; at that point the Saints were already up 31-21. The interception would lead to the big 56 yard touchdown pass to all but put the nail in the coffin for the Lions.
