The Jaguars and starting OL Uche Nwaneri have agreed on a new deal worth roughly $24 million over five years. The deal includes anywhere from $8-$9 million guaranteed, according to an NFL source. Nwaneri was on the final year of his rookie deal with a base salary of $1.101 million. Both sides have been exchanging proposals for several weeks, but were able to get a deal done in time for the start of the regular season. Nwaneri, 26, has started 29 of the 41 games he’s appeared in and has started 28 over the past two seasons.
