This pretty much would have been the Jacksonville Jaguars’ luck. Star rookie running back Leonard Fournette, fresh off a two-touchdown performance against Pittsburgh last week, was involved in a car accident in Florida.

It was a chain-reaction wreck. No one was injured, and Fournette himself was not at fault (more on that here).

That has to be music to the ears of Jaguars fans the world over as the team prepares to take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game this weekend.

Though, Fournette himself seemed to be in a good mood following the accident. How good? Well, the running back autographed his car bumper and gave it to a worker at the scene. He also posed for a photo with a child.

“Before leaving the scene, Fournette autographed his bumper and gave it to a Dept. of Transportation worker who was cleaning up the crash site. He also posed for a photo with a child who was in one of the other cars involved,” NFL.com noted.

Here are some photos from the scene of the accident.

Fournette finished up the regular season having tallied north of 1,300 total yards with 10 touchdowns. He’s followed that up with 197 total yards and three scores during two playoff games.

The most electric player on Jacksonville’s offense, Fournette is also the second most popular player on the roster, per our SNIP data. He’s behind Blake Bortles and ahead of the always talkative Jalen Ramsey.

Should Fournette help lead his Jags to a win over New England on Sunday, said popularity will be taken to a whole new level. Heck, he’d then be handed the keys to both Duval and London. Because, why not?
