According to Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars have reached an agreement with Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who is the last player in the entire draft to have signed a deal. The Jaguars selected Blackmon fifth overall in this past April’s draft, after trading up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from the seventh spot. Following Blackmon’s second DUI arrest in early June, negotiations with the rookie receiver came to a halt over the language of the deal, where the team wanted to protect themselves financially if Blackmon had another run-in with the law. The details of the deal are unknown at this point. Now that he’s signed, he’ll join a receiving group in Jacksonville that includes free agent acquisitions Laurent Robinson and Lee Evans, Cecil Shorts III, and Mike Thomas, among others fighting for roster spots. Now, if only Maurice Jones-Drew would show up.
