It's not easy being the Jacksonville Jaguars.
We learned Friday that the NFL asked the winless team to strip rookie Denard Robinson of the ambiguous "OW" (or offensive weapon) label on Jacksonville's official roster.
The request comes a full three months after the Jaguars draped Robinson with the title amid reports he would play 10 to 15 snaps per game at running...
CBS Sports columnist Pete Prisco is know as a very anti-Tim Tebow guys. He ended up visiting the Jaguars stadium during the ”Sign Tim Tebow Rally” and got into it with some Jaguars fans. He then showed off his best Tebow impression.

Jaguars cornerback Will Blackmon was out of work a month ago.
Now he’s the Jaguars’ leading cornerback in terms of snaps played this season.
Blackmon was cut by Seattle on Aug. 27. He signed with the Jaguars a day later.
“I was excited just to be on a roster” Blackmon said.
He’s more than a name on the roster now. Blackmon has started the last two games for the Jaguars...
According to Black Sports Online, the banner shown above flew over the Jaguars stadium on Sunday.
CBS Sports is reporting the latest pleas for Tebow coming from the group known as ‘JAGS-TEBOW, WHY NOT.’ At least we know that they don’t plan on giving up anytime soon. They had a rally on Sept 16 in support of Tebow to the Jags, but unfortunately only 16 people showed up...
Things are not going well for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season. The team needs help-it’s no secret. However, it may be surprising to hear where they are looking--the ball boys and equipment assistants.
Thanks to a rash of injuries the team only has two healthy receivers Cecil Shorts and Ace Sanders forcing them to call up Tobias Palmer and Jeremy Ebert from the practice...
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fortunately for Gus Bradley, he was in Seattle as defensive coordinator of the Seahawks when the Jacksonville Jaguars were drubbed 41-3 by the Chicago Bears at EverBank Field a year ago.
But Sunday's debacle against the Indianapolis Colts had an air of unpleasant similarity to the game which laid the foundation for what wound up being a 2-14 season. For...
This "Tebow, Why Not?" banner was flown over EverBank Field during Jacksonville's game against Indianapolis on Sunday.
Obviously, oddsmakers in Las Vegas see the potential for Jacksonville to possibly win on Sunday. Why else would a team that was almost a 20-point “dog” on the road only be an eight-point underdog at home against a team that is trending upward in the NFL?Maybe I am just fooling myself into thinking this is a game the Jags can win, but stranger things have happened. And the Jaguars...
The Jacksonville Jaguars were humiliated in Sunday’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert was 17-for-32 for 179 yards and threw three interceptions but he will remain the teams starting quarterback according to head coach Gus Bradley.
“I’m staying strong with Blaine because he competed and he’s doing what we asked him to do,”...
Former Jacksonville Jaguars head coach and current Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday, according to a tweet from University of Houston tennis coach Patrick Sullivan. Here’s what Sullivan tweeted: Just spotted Jack Del Rio in LAX #USC — Patrick Sullivan (@coachPSully) September 30, 2013 Sullivan […]
A Plane flies over the Jacksonville Jaguars game pulling “Tebow, Why Not?” sign. It’s come to this. One of Jacksonville’s favorite sons is still riding the pine waiting for the phone call. I don’t know about all you football fans, but I for one want to see Tebow make miracles happen on a weekly basis. If you can win games with an arm like that, Jesus has to be on your side...
Jacksonville tailback Maurice Jones-Drew has only 138 yards on 57 carries (2.4 ypc) through four games.Fantasy Spin:MJD is facing eight or nine men in the box every time he touches the football and hasn't had a run longer than 10 yards. He ran for 23 on 13 carries Sunday against the Colts. It's time to get him out of your fantasy lineup and look for other options.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Despite a slow start, the Indianapolis Colts were still plenty good enough against winless Jacksonville.
Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes, Trent Richardson ran for a score and the Colts became the latest to beat the Jaguars by double digits, 37-3 Sunday.
The Colts (3-1) were a little sluggish and sloppy in the first half, but that did little to...
The Jacksonville Jaguars tried to increase their tepid attendance last week by offering the chance to get free beverages -- including beer -- with a ticket purchase for Sunday's home game against Indianapolis.
The Mothers Against Drunk Driving advocacy group hopes the Jaguars and other NFL franchises don't make this a regular practice with alcoholic beverages.
