According to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts is expected to start in place of Mike Thomas next week.“When the Jaguars return next week, Cecil Shorts is expected to take over Laurent Robinson’s role as a starting receiver opposite Blackmon,” wrote OHalloran.“He’s taken advantage of the situations we’ve put him in and made some big plays,” said Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey.In certain spots, Shorts has made some great plays and certainly deserves to start.
