Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew Expects To Miss A Few More Games

Serving as a sign of the Jaguars’ putrid running game, Maurice Jones-Drew remains the team leader in rushes (86) and yards (414) even though he hasn’t played since early in last month’s game at Oakland. Jones-Drew’s foot injury is expected to keep him out of Sunday’s game against Tennessee. Since he hasn’t returned to practice yet, it’s unlikely he’ll be available Dec. 2 at Buffalo. The positive development for Jones-Drew came this week when he put away the walking boot and crutches. As for his return, he has told national radio outlets it would be “a few weeks,” or a “couple weeks.” “That’s pretty much the general answer without getting in trouble,” Jones-Drew said, citing the injury edict set by coach Mike Mularkey.
