According to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, Patriots tight end Jake Ballard has passed his physical and has been activated from the PUP list.
Pats TE Jake Ballard passed his physical, came off PUP today and presumably practiced. So chill on that.

As the New England Patriots get ready to start training camp, they decided to place wide receiver Julian Edelman (foot), tight end Jake Ballard (knee) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) on the physically unable to perform list.

If you were to ask me right now, I’d say that Jake Ballard doesn’t make the 53-man roster the way that things have gone in OTAs.
