Jared Allen is still doing his calf-ropey thing to celebrate sacks.

I spent Monday afternoon reviewing game film, as I like to do during football season…it takes my mind off the grueling stretch of daytime between The Price Is Right and Jeopardy!…and came across this little nugget of the formerly mulleted Vikings DE Jared Allen openly flaunting new NFL policy after sacking fleet footed Bears QB Nuke LaLoosh Jay Cutler this past weekend at Soldier Field.

Last I heard (or read on profootballtalk.com that is), any celebrations which involve “going to the turf”, like Allen’s does in the clip above, should have probably drawn a flag and perhaps even a fine. Or at least an all-caps text with a frowny face, maybe even two. L L
