Jared Allen, a four time Pro Bowler and All Pro NFL defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings presented his First Annual Jared Allen “Helping Heroes Gala” to benefit Jared Allen’s Homes For Wounded Warriors this past weekend at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis. Several members of the Minnesota Vikings were in attendance including Jared Allen, Percy Harvin, Christian Ponder, Adrian Peterson among others. The gala garnered close to $300,000.00, which will go directly to helping wounded war veterans. “I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came out on Friday and made the event an incredible success. The support I received from my teammates and the Vikings organization was remarkable and I cannot say thank you enough. I hope that next year is even more successful.
