Jason Peters of the Philadelphia Eagles has ruptured his Achilles' tendon for the 2nd time and will require another surgery to repair it.

According to CSNPhilly‘s Derrick Gunn and other outlets, Jason Peters, who was recovering from surgery to repair his Achilles’ tendon has re-injured himself.

The Pro Bowl Offensive tackle ruptured his Achilles in March while working out at home. He had surgery to repair the injury a week later, forcing the Philadelphia Eagles to go out and sign former Buffalo Bill Demetress Bell as his replacement.

As the story goes, Jason Peters was walking around his house using a device known as a Roll-A-Bout when the device malfunctioned, causing Jason Peters to sustain a second ruptured Achilles tendon. The injury will once again require surgery, eliminating any doubt that Peters will be able to make a comeback this season – he will NOT.

Not good news in Eagles town.
