Giants head coach Tom Coughlin told the media today that both Jason Pierre-Paul and Markus Kuhn are “getting close” to coming off the physically unable to perform list, according to Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News.
The Giants activated fullback Henry Hynoski from the PUP list earlier today. His goal is to still be ready for the Giants opener against the Cowboys.

According to Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger, New York Giants FB Henry Hynoski was activated from the PUP list, and will return to practice today. Hynoski has been out for three months after surgery to repair an MCL injury and a fracture in his left knee, which occurred during the offseason.
The New York Giants have announced that offensive lineman David Diehl will undergo surgery on his thumb today that will keep him out for the next six weeks.
Diehl practiced yesterday with a cast on his right hand. After an MRI and examination by Dr. Hotchkiss this morning, it was determined the injury required surgical repair.
