Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Dallas is still focusing on the Super Bowl despite a 2-3 start. Coach Jason Garrett, however, said the Cowboys are focused on taking the season one game at a time. Now tight end Jason Witten says Jones is right to talk about a championship this season, and he'll have words with anyone who says otherwise. "Yeah, every man in this room should believe that" the Cowboys can win the Super Bowl this year, Witten said, according to ESPNDallas.com. "If you don't, get out of here." Now, by doing some basic, speculative, pieced-together reporting, it would appear that Garrett would be a "man" who is "in this room." The question is whether or not he believes the Cowboys have what it takes to go to the Super Bowl. What is known is that Garrett doesn't want his team focused on it -- which appears to be just what Witten is doing. Witten went on to talk about the New York Giants' Super Bowl runs, where the Giants came back from losing seasons and ended up winning it all. He put the emphasis on performance, saying the Cowboys would need to really make it happen if they wanted to reach the Super Bowl this year. But he wouldn't shy away from Jones' gusto in saying his team has what it takes. "I think he's trying to be optimistic," Witten said. "I think he watches the tape and sees that we're doing a lot of good things. I don't think it's more than that. I don't think he's trying to build us up or anything like that." Jerry Jones, watching some tape? Garrett may not be getting called out by one of his players, but he sure isn't keeping control of the funny farm.  Photo of the Day See no evil. Quote of the Day "When they change, that should trigger the ability for us to change. I'm all for the no-huddle and one grouping. Whoever you put out there, you better be prepared to go through a whole series and be out there for a while. And that's fine. When they change, we need to be given the right to change ... and we're going to make sure that right is given to us."-- Jets defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, on making sure the Patriots' no-huddle doesn't keep the Jets from substituting. Or he's just providing excuses for a Jets loss. Tweet of the Day Red Sox Nation turns it eyes to the future. “@nesn: Good morning, Beantown!
