PLAYERS: Jay Cutler
TEAMS: Chicago Bears
According to Rotoworld.com, ESPN’s Ron Jaworski believes that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has “plateaued” at this point in his career. After studying Jay Cutler’s 2012 game tape, ESPN’s Ron Jaworski believes Cutler has “plateaued” and failed to get better “from year to year.” Jaws left the door open for Cutler to improve under new coach Marc Trestman, and still loves his willingness to “pull the trigger” versus tight man coverage. But Jaworski believes Cutler’s sometimes overly aggressive mentality has made him an oft-undisciplined player prone to “reckless, undisciplined plays, bad decisions, scattershot throws.” Added Jaws, “Marc Trestman will coach him hard. It is now up to Jay Cutler to accept that coaching.” I’m not really sure Jaworski’s assessment is fair since the Bears have failed give Cutler the pass protection he needs to flourish. After making some upgrades to their line this offseason, Cutler has a chance to step his play up in 2013. Need NFL Tickets? The post Jaws: Cutler has “plateaued” appeared first on Pro Football Zone.

Matt Forte expects to be used often in Bears offense

Are the Bears worried about the health of Brandon Marshall?

Photo from Chicago Bears.com Last year the Chicago Bears’ relied heavily on receiver Brandon Marshall. So much that it would be a common sight to see two cornerbacks lined up directly in front of Marshall on a lot of passing plays.  Marshall has undergone three hip surgeries in his career and while Marshall did recover quickly from the previous two, it is fair to wonder if the...
