The Chicago Bears are hoping that quarterback Jay Cutler will be able to play on Sunday. The Bears play Minnesota in Week 12 and will need Cutler’s presence to have a chance against a vastly improved Vikings team.
Thus far Cutler has met all the benchmarks to return from a concussion. Should he continue to improve he would be able to play on Sunday. Cutler was able to return to his weekly radio segment earlier this week where seemed unsure about a return.
“I don’t know, we’ll see,” Cutler said but this did occur before he met again with doctors. “Got to go out on the field and make sure you can exert yourself, and it’s a personal thing making sure you feel ok.”
Cutler missed last week after suffering a concussion from a helmet to helmet hit by Houston Texans linebacker Tim Dobbins. Dobbins was fined $30,000 for the hit. Without Cutler the Bears were defeated 32-7. Though all the faults of the game can not fall on backup Jason Campbell as the Bears offensive line was unable to stop t...
