So there's that.When speaking to the media Thursday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ireland talked about what role, if any, Twitter plays when scouting talent. (photo: Chris J. "I don’t know how much of the evaluation process that it’s taking in. Again it’s more information in what (the players are) saying and maybe there’s a sense of maturity that goes along with being a heavy twitterer, is that right language, heavy twitterer."My guys on my staff are very good at it. They follow a lot of college athletes and I think it’s going to be a little bit bigger process as we move forward.”Ireland said that the emphasis on monitoring social media has grown with social media itself over the last two years. ...
