Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley seems to be frustrated that he’s not getting the ball thrown to him as much as he used to. “Both of us need to just go out, maybe have a drink or two and just spill everything,” Finley said of him and Rodgers last week, per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. “It sounds easy, but it’s not. He’s throwing it to who he’s comfortable with. “I think (Randall) Cobb’s taken my position from ’09. I want to line up where Cobb’s lining up because I know the ball’s coming there. “But me and 12 just ain’t been on. He’s had some guys come through this year, and he’s gone to them instead of me. And really, it’s out of my hands at the end of the day. If I could throw myself the ball and run under it, I’d do it every play because he’s just not throwing me the ball like he used to.” Whether Finley wants to admit it or not, the reason Finley isn’t getting the attention from Rodgers that he once did is because he’s dropped quite a few passes over the past few seasons.   var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

  • Finley had a promising career early, but dropping pass after pass makes him trade bait or an all out release to free up some cap $$. DONT GO AWAY MAD, JUST GO AWAY

  • Rodgers is throwing to players that are consistent in CATCHING the ball! Now lets get McCarthy to realize that he needs to to do something ASAP with Mason Crosby. Crosby will cost us a play off berth
  • Careful what you wish for
  • Any time you lead the league in dropped passes you should keep your mouth shut and be happy you still have a job!!
  • J Mike has gone as far as he can in Green Bay.Maybe his agent is his worst enemy.He could be a superstar,but likes to talk more than perform.With new surroundings he will get a wake up call.I just hope he has any value to Green Bay as trade bait.My guess is he would not even get us a third round pick.J Mike should look at Donald Driver and be like Donald.
  • I think finley is a cancer with in the team,trading him would be the best thing to do

University of California football coach Jeff Tedford was fired Tuesday in his 11th season at the school, and his most successful former player didn't waste any time coming to his defense. Aaron Rodgers Plays Keyboard, Jumps on Trampoline While Visiting Young Packers Fan Fighting Cancer (Video)

Aaron Rodgers is a pretty sensitive guy. Maybe not quite as sensitive as his interview on “60 Minutes” made him seem, but a caring and compassionate person nonetheless. Rodgers showed off his sensitive side yet again recently, as the Green Bay Packers quarterback teamed up with the MACC — Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer — Fund to help raise awareness for the work...

Rarest of Feats Could Pay Playoff Dividends

Pre-Carousel: Cal Fires Jeff Tedford

Sometimes 12-years with a College Football program is too much. In fact in major conference college football it often is. 12-years for Jeff Tedford at Cal was exactly that: Too long. Tedford was fired Tuesday morning as the Golden Bears limped through a 3-9 season. And yes, the school owes him money. A lot of money. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $7 million for the next three...
