New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum held a conference call on Tuesday with reporters and took several questions in regards to free agency. At one point Tannenbaum was asked about Pittsburgh Steelers unrestricted free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery and if the Jets had interest in signing him back after his one season in Pittsburgh. Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger reports that Tannenbaum said, "Nothing on the horizon right now. Whichever team signs Jerricho will be lucky to get him."

The questions surrounding the Steelers backfield won’t fully be answered until the 2012 season is in the books. For the time being though we can dissect the possibility that Rashard Mendenhall won’t be available for the upcoming season and how that will affect the current offseason plans of the team.
Ed Bouchette wrote an article on Monday talking about Mendenhall and recounting...
OK, so now reports have surfaced that this Tim Tebow to N.Y. deal may die because, of all things, the Jets do not like language in the contract they may or may not have read. So my reaction to this news is more of an if, as in if this happens. If this does kill the deal, well, my apologies for wasting your time. If not and the Jets pony up, the $5 mil, though, I promise it will be...
The NFL draft is just about a month away and the Steelers have some needs to fill this year. With the loss of James Farrior and little depth on the offensive line the Steelers could use some starters in the 2012 draft. Chris Kemoeatu was a cap casualty earlier this month and leaves a hole at left Continue
It should come as no surprise that the Arizona Cardinals brought Pittsburgh Steelers free agent cornerback William Gay in for a visit on Monday as the Cardinals defensive coordinator is Ray Horton, who coached the Steelers defensive backs prior to leaving for Arizona. Gay is an unrestricted free agent and is free to sign with any team.
Gay has said his hopes were that he would remain...

Well, it is has happened. The New York Jets, masters of the media spectacle, have traded for Tim Tebow. They gave up a 4th and 6th round pick and received a 7th rounder back from Denver as part of the deal. I was about clear as possible that I wasn’t in support of this move prior to it happening but it has happened. I root for the laundry folks, just like you should and would...
According to Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, the New York Jets interest in Denver Broncos is intensifying at the moment. earlier in the day they seemed to be long shots to land Tebow, but now things seems to be changing.
Cimini mentioned that a source within the Jets organization believe that “bringing in a guy like (Tebow) would help,” and that “it makes perfect sense...
When word got around that Tim Tebow was traded to the New York Jets this afternoon, Tebow-mania hit New York City like well... Linsanity and it didn't take long for the New York Jets Store in mid-town to start ironing out green and white #15 jerseys with Tebow's name on the back.
After the deal shockingly hit a snag, the store stopped producing the shirts.
We just had em made T..
The ink still hasn’t dried yet on the Tim Tebow trade to the New York Jets, and already Tebowmaniacs are wearing gang green Tebow jerseys. I love a good circus. It should be an interesting season in New York. -TO
