PLAYERS: Tony Romo
TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sat down with some local Dallas reporters as well as some national reporters on his brand luxury bus in Indianapolis to talk about the future of his team. Jones indicated that they haven’t begun contract talks with quarterback Tony Romo yet, despite a report that claims they have.  He did mention that he has an idea of what the numbers of Romo’s extension will look like. Of course Jones expects Romo to be the Cowboys’ starter for the future.  Sounds like Dallas’ fans need to temper their hopes of getting a new quarterback any time soon.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document...

Miles Austin Could Be Cap Casualty In The Near Future

ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that WR Miles Austin could be a ”potential salary cap casualty” in the next few days as the Cowboys look to free up some much needed cap room.
