Jimmy Fallon’s been over-enthusiastically taping his late-night show in Indianapolis this week in advance for the Super Bowl. The football hub the city currently is, he’s been able to procure a handful of cameos and guest spots from football stars past and present, such as Deion Sanders, Tim Tebow, Drew Brees and Michael Strahan. During Thursday’s episode, Jerry Rice and Tony Gonzalez joined in on the fun, re-enacting the famous “You complete me” scene from the end of Jerry Maguire.
Two football greats re-enacting one of the sappiest movie scenes ever? Brilliant. Rice does look a little weird wearing that blonde wig with a beard. But even still, he looks better than Renee Zellweger. Shots!
