Muhammad Wilkerson, who was thought to have suffered a concussion in last Sundays loss to the Chargers, said Friday he never had one and will be playing in Sundays game at Buffalo.
Coach Rex Ryan had said earlier in the week the 23-year-old had a concussion, but Wilkerson was cleared to play after passing all tests and said he feels good.
They were making sure I didnt have a concussion, but I never had one, Wilkerson said. I just showed symptoms, but I was fine. I wasnt worried [I had a concussion]. Im playing [tomorrow].
Wilkerson is listed as probable and was a full participant in yesterdays practice, after sitting out Wednesday and working on a limited basis on Thursday.
Dustin Keller has played his last game of the season and perhaps his final game with the Jets as he's listed as doubtful with a sprained left ankle.
Also listed as doubtful were quarterback Greg McElroy (abdomen/concussion), linebacker Bryan Thomas (chest) and wide receiver Chaz Schilens (knee) while cornerback Ellis Lankster (concussion) and wide receiver Braylon Edwards (knee/hamstring) are both listed as questionable and were limited in practice.

Sanchez, Jets lose finale in Buffalo 28-9
MARK SANCHEZ CAN'T FIND END ZONE AS JETS LOCK UP WORST SEASON IN REX RYAN ERA. Greg McElroy Hid Concussion Symptoms From Jets’ Trainers, Coaching Staff
With all the importance places on head injuries and concussions in sports over the past few years, all the safety measures in the world don’t help if players aren’t honest about their suffering.

If Woody Johnson has a moment of clarity, he fires Rex Ryan
Rex Ryan’s bravado may have finally got the best of him. The New York Jets head coach has always been extremely confident, in fact, cocky. According to those in the know, if team owner won’t make the changes Rex wants, he should fire Rex. See, Rex isn’t stupid, either. He didn’t say my way or [...]
