Rex Ryan admitted that theres a chance that linebacker Bart Scott could miss Sundays game against the Dolphins with a lingering toe injury. Scott, who played just nine defensive snaps against the Patriots last week due to difficulty changing direction in open spaces, has played in 116 consecutive games dating back to 2005.
There's always the possibility that he aggravated it or something," Ryan said on Thursday. "I don't believe that to be the case, but he's sore as heck right now."
Scott suffered the injury in the Jets 23-20 overtime win over the Dolphins in Week 3.
That injury is a tough one, Ryan said. That could have kept him out the last three weeks, it really could, but he's that kind of guy (to play through it). Sometimes we have to look at it too. If it's up to Bart, you know he's going to play."
