The New York Jets took the NFL by surprise with a 2-1 record through the first three weeks of the season, but in Sunday’s lopsided 38-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans, the unthinkable happened: another buttfumble—this time from rookie quarterback Geno Smith. Titans third-year defensive tackle Karl Klug forced the buttfumble, which marked Smith’s fourth turnover of the game.  The 6-3, 221-pound signal-caller completed 23 of 34 passes for 289 yards with one touchdown to two interceptions on Sunday.  He came into the game having connected on 55 of 102 passes (53.9 percent) for 801 yards with a TD-to-INT ratio of 3:6.
