Found March 19, 2014 on NFL Trade Rumors:
PLAYERS: Mike Goodson
TEAMS: New York Jets
According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, the Jets restructured RB Mike Goodson‘s contract in recent days. Cimini mentions that Goodson’s 2014 cap figure of $1.9 million has been reduced to $1.28 million. Cimini adds that Goodson’s $650,000 roster bonus appears to be what has been reworked given that it no longer counts towards the team’s salary cap. Goodson, 26, signed a three-year, $6.9 million contract that included $1.925 million guaranteed with the Jets last year. He was arrested back in May of last year for weapons charges and possession of marijuana back in May. Goodson pleaded not guilty to the weapon charges a few months ago, but could be facing prison time if convicted. Goodson’s first year with the Jets ended in October when he tore both his ACL and MCL. He finished the year with just seven carries for 67 yards rushing to go along with two receptions for 19 yards receiving.

Antonio Cromartie or His Wife Rips Jets, But Then Deletes The Tweets

If you are going to say it, say it with your chest. Cromartie immediately deleted the Tweets, but nothing is deleted on Twitter. Cromartie should remember one thing, when he was going through his child support and financial troubles the Jets did work with him, so while he maybe upset now, it is hard to say they didn’t do right by him over long-term. Cromartie’s wife took responsibility...

Michael Vick To Meet With Jets

Michael Vick has sat back and watched free agency play out in front of him until  now. Eliot Shorr-Parks is reporting that Vick will meet with Jets brass on Friday, and could end up signing there as well. If all goes well for Vick in New York this weekend, he could sign. Rex Ryan on Darrelle Revis: 'He's now a Patriot. It is what it is.'

Antonio Cromartie leaving for the Cardinals Thursday felt like the Jets had lost the consolation prize after they already had failed to bring back the best free agent cornerback of all: Darrelle Revis. Rex Ryan ‘Pissed’ DRC Signed with the Giants

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan doesn’t seem to be having his way in free agency. Originally he wanted to bring Darrelle Revis back to the Jets, but push back from owner Woody Johnson and GM John Idzik made that option null and void. Then Rex was seemingly very high on Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, but, as we all know, DRC has now signed with the New York Giants. According to NFL.com...
