The saga of when and where Santonio Holmes might play football again seems closer to being resolved. ESPN.com is reporting that Holmes has been removed from the PUP list after passing a physical.  Holmes has been cleared to practice, and could it allow him to be ready for the season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Holmes of course has been accused of milking the injury to get out of participating in training camp.
