Jets return specialist Jeremy Kerley was selected as the AFC's special teams player of the week for Week 1 of the NFL season.
Kerley earned the special teams award after returning a punt 68 yards for a touchdown in New York's 48-28 rout of Buffalo. It was the first punt return for a score by the Jets since Santana Moss in 2002.
