The 49ers had the ball six yards out of the end zone under with touchdown to them the lead with under three minutes left in the game. And as we all know by now, they swung an missed four straight times, giving the ball back to the Ravens, who hung on for the win. Sorry if that was like pouring salt into now-healing wounds for you, Niners fans. The Niners were only able to get one yard in those four place. The play calling: run, pass, pass, pass. And Jim Harbaugh hates all of them. Per the Merc: “We came up 5 yards short. Certainly, knowing how it ended up, how it finished when we didn’t get the ball in, yeah, we would have liked to try different play call, a different scenario,” the coach said. “That’s the way I always feel.
