PLAYERS: Jim Irsay
TEAMS: Indianapolis Colts

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay posted a message on his Twitter feed after meeting with Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck over the past two days. And it’s an obvious hint that the Colts will draft Luck with the first overall pick.

Met with A Luck#12 n Indy 2day for 3 hrs;it’s easy 2c why the #1 pick n this Stanford phenom has been synonymous with each other 4over 2 yrs

— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) April 10, 2012

It won’t surprise anyone if and when the Colts take Luck, but it’s pretty entertaining and comical that Irsay still won’t admit that Luck is the guy who they’ll move forward with as their franchise quarterback.

Sad Redskins Fans Already Getting RG3 License Plates

C’mon, Jim Irsay! Pull the trigger on the biggest flip-flop in NFL Draft history by taking Robert Griffin III instead of Andrew Luck. Ruin the license plates that are starting to show up in and around Washington D.C. proclaiming the love for the likely new Redskins QB. Dan Steinberg at D.C. Sports Bog writes that one fan even has Luck plates on reserve just in case Irsay goes...

He's just a rookie

Jim Irsay essentially said the Colts are taking Andrew Luck with the first pick of the 2012 NFL draft. Paul Kuharsky and Trent Dilfer agree that despite high expectations we all need to temper our hopes: I think that final plea is an important one, and one we’ll probably need to circle back to over and over. Even if Luck is more prepared than Troy Aikman and Peyton Manning were...

A Very Important Mike Florio Smokescreen Advisory

In the weeks leading up to the draft, misinformation is more rife than it usually is, mostly because of GM gamesmanship and also because Jim Irsay sometimes needs attention. Mike Florio wants to stress that you should make sure to apply extra scrutiny to the motivation behind sources’ reports, so he doesn’t have to. Is it because Florio gleefully posted Morris Clairborne’s...

The Vikings might still be able to trade down for extra picks if QB Ryan Tannehill is worth the move, as some in league circles are speculating. Jim Irsay and Bill Polian both advanced that notion, but what would it take?

Top Ten Tweets From People Who Never Heard Of KSK Kontent Klearinghouse

- I wondered yesterday whether Redskins fans would ever express their RGIII loinfire away from the tidy confines of their obnoxious vanity license plates. The answer came but hours later, when a guy attending Monday Night Raw held aloft a giant RGIII head. Then Jim Irsay came out and said he was drafting RGIII for Team Smackdown, then Brock Lesnar ran out to deliver the F5 on him...

Jim Irsay’s Tweet All but Confirms Indianapolis Colts Will Select Andrew Luck

For two years, Andrew Luck has been unofficially the No.1 pick in the NFL draft. The only difference to this year compared to last year is that Luck is actually in the draft this time.  Andrew Luck has the tools to be a great NFL quarterback and everyone knows that. The only reason the idea is flying around that Robert Griffin III may go ahead of him is because of his athletic ability...
