Joe Haden is practicing for the Browns, who hope the cornerback will be able to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The only Browns not participating Friday are defensive backs Dmitri Patterson and Ray Ventrone. Patterson has missed five games with an ankle injury and Ventrone has a calf problem.
Having Haden back would be quite welcome for Cleveland, 0-5 this year when the cornerback has been out of the lineup. He missed last week's overtime loss in Dallas due to a strained abdominal muscle and replacement Buster Skrine committed key penalties in his place.
Skrine sustained a concussion later in the game and was held out of practice earlier this week, but has taken part Friday.

Weeden rips Browns' playcalling
Brandon Weeden was not happy with the Browns' playcalling during their loss to the Cowboys last weekend and called it unfair.
Johnson Bademosi named Browns’ fourth captain
When Buster Skrine went down with a concussion this past weekend while filling in for Joe Haden, the Browns had to turn to the bench once again. Johnson Bademosi (every color commentator’s worst nightmare) was the man up and he did pretty well. Bademosi made the team as an undrafted player from Stanford this season because he could play special teams. Now, he’s been named the...
NFL News: Skrine, Cooper more involved in Thursday’s practice
Some positive news from today’s Browns practice: cornerback Buster Skrine and wide receiver Josh Cooper each saw increased reps as they battle their respective injuries.
Skrine (concussion) was a limited participant Thursday after not practicing on Wednesday. Cooper (knee) was a full participant after being limited the day before.
In other notable injury news, Joe Haden (olbique...
Report: Brandon Weeden ranks second in passes dropped
Via Terry Pluto’s great Facebook page, we received word of a neat Pro Football Focus study from Wednesday that analyzed dropped passes by NFL quarterbacks through 11 weeks of the season.
Surprise, surprise who ranks in the top two? Just one behind Detroit’s Matthew Stafford, Browns rookie Brandon Weeden has had 32 of his passes dropped this year, according to the study. These...
Is there an opportunity for the Browns to beat Pittsburgh? Ask Brandon Weeden
When Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, a self-confessed Steelers fan, bought the team, he said one of his first priorities was to revive the Cleveland-Pittsburgh rivalry. Yes, there used to be a rivalry. Long ago. The Steelers have beaten Cleveland 16 of the past 17 games, but with injuries mounted in Steel City, especially that of QB Ben Roethlisberger, confidence is flowing...
I wonder If Browns Q.B.Weeden Is Smart Enough To Know He Threw Shurmur Under The Bus (Video)
One thing you have to wonder about the Cleveland Browns 29-year-old quarterback is about his I.Q.. This week when he came out and threw Browns head coach Pat Shumur under the bus when it comes to the Browns play calling he could have really sealed his fate. Maybe this is Weeden’s way of trying to have himself taken out of the Steelers game, maybe he saw how James Harrison the Pittsburgh...
Steelers vs. Browns Reader Survey
It’s a holiday so this is a bit late, but it’s time to get your predictions on record. This is going to be interesting by the end of the season to see just how the fanbase ends up dealing with reality or realizing the reality of the Browns’ situation. With that in mind, please give me what you think will happen this weekend against the hated Steelers.
The Browns almost beat the Cowboys last week, too bad you don't get wins for almost in the NFL. Week 12 preview.
The Browns are bad and the last two weeks we've found out how bad the Cowboys are too. Browns fans shouldn't get too excited about the game last week in Dallas, the Cowboys are not a good football team.
After going a red hot 13-1 in week 11, I went 2-1 on Thanksgiving day. For the season that makes it 106-57. I'm still in striking distance of .750 for the season...

Cleveland Browns Set To Wave The White Flag...Literally
Since 1975, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ faithful have gained national notoriety by flailing their “terrible towels” in the air at Steelers home games. Clearly not wanting to be outdone, the Cleveland Browns will also be rolling out their own version of this little gimmick. When the Steelers head to the rock n’ rock capital of the world this Sunday, the raucous Cleveland Dawg...
Browns seek rare win over loathed Steelers
Upon taking over as Browns owner last summer, Jimmy Haslam said one of his first priorities was to revive the Cleveland-Pittsburgh rivalry.
It's been dead for years.
Once the NFL's equivalent to the Hatfields vs. McCoys in helmets and shoulder pads, the two-times-per-season clash between the Steelers and Browns has lost its luster. Pittsburgh has dominated the matchup between...
