Just a few days ago, Joe McKnight revealed that he added 15 pounds of muscle this offseason, doing so with an unorthodox combination of golden Oreos and weightlifting.

Now, not only has that number gone up a pound, but McKnight divulged that he went from golden cookies to the Golden Arches.

Gang Green's shifty scatback and All-Pro kick returner told the NY Daily News Wednesday that he chomped down on a "lot" of McDonalds this offseason. In retrospect, he says, it wasn't the smartest choice, and he could've followed a better example set by one certain Jet.

"I was eating healthy, but the majority of time I was eating bad. I wasn't eating all the right stuff... Like Tim Tebow," McKnight said.

So let me get this straight, Joe. You toss your cookies during a routine training camp practice, but have an iron stomach when scarfing down a copious amount of Big Macs and french fries?

Ok then.

Nevertheless, bulking up was a priority for McKnight, a third-year pro who figures to see more playing time in 2012. With LaDainian Tomlinson out of the picture, he stands to gain (no pun intended) more offensive touches behind incumbent starter Shonn Greene to go along with duties on special teams.

However, the extra weight will do nothing to improve his paltry 3.12 yards-per-carry average from 2011, or his ever-persistent fumbling issue, which is typically more of a mental than physical lapse for runningbacks. There's also a chance some of his speed could be sapped, similar to how Felix Jones was adversely affected after putting on more mass.

But at least we now know McKnight likely has a part waiting for him should a Super Size Me sequel ever get the green light.
