TEAMS: New York Jets

Joe Namath, as it turns out, actually cares more about the team struggling than what he told Suzy Kolber a few years back. Namath says Jets owner Woody Johnson cares more about selling personal seat licenses than winning games. “I think the focus is changed, subtly,” Namath said, via ESPN. “It’s more toward grabbing headlines, and everything starts at the top. And you can go back to when the seat licenses were initiated, how we started conducting things. I don’t think winning has been put at the top of the board. Winning headlines has replaced that.” “We seem to have regressed with talent, the last two years at least, the last three years,” he said. “I don’t know who’s picking the player . . . I’m disappointed in the talent we have, and I think you have to start looking at who’s doing the picking and why.” var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

  • joe has a lot of nerve. he should not even be in the hof with his stats. everyone should take a look at them. all those interceptions compared to tds. the only reason is he predicted the super bowl win and won it. it all has to do with his image and that is not saying much.

Turn On The Jets Stock Watch: 2nd Half Outlook Edition

After the disaster of watching the Jets get absolutely demolished by the Miami Dolphins in person at MetLife Stadium, I, like many of you, was extremely down on this team.
