Glad I waited on this one I guess?
Earlier reports had Seattle free agent safety Jordan Babineuax agreeing to terms with what’s quick becoming Seahawks East, the Tennessee Titans. He has in fact actually agreed to return to the Seahawks, according to multiple sources.
His agent actually confirmed that Babs had decided to sign with the Titans, and that he had taken less money to go there as well, which is what makes this even more peculiar.
This isn’t the first Seahawk to change his mind on signing with another team in just this off season, Brandon Stokley rescinded his agreement with the Washington Redskins after they went out and acquired Jabar Gaffney, Donte Stallworth, and re-signed Santana Moss.
Within the division alone it happened once today already at the same position. Former Bills safety Donte Whitner just pulled the same stunt, reportedly agreeing with the Cincinnati Bengals and changing his mind at the last second to sign with the San Francisco 49ers.
A lot of changing of the mind going on.
