A New Jersey judge says Minnesota Vikings principal owner Zygi Wilf and others must make their financial worth public as the court determines what damages they should pay in a civil lawsuit.
The Star-Ledger (http://bit.ly/13D10wL ) reported that the judge Monday said the sealed document listing the Wilfs' ''minimum net worth'' must be released, but she will allow a delay so the Wilfs can pursue an appeal.
A lawyer for the Wilfs said releasing the information would invade their privacy.
The Wilfs were sued by partners in an apartment complex in Montville. The suit seeks more than $50 million in damages.
The judge ruled in August that brothers Zygi and Mark Wilf and a cousin committed fraud, breach of contract and fiduciary duty, and had violated New Jersey's civil racketeering law.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson went 78-yards for the TD against the Lions on his first touch of the 2013 NFL season. If this is any indication of his upcoming season the NFL all-time rushing record should be all his. Simply amazing.
If you have DT Ndamukong Suh as an IDP player be careful. The NFL is going to be reviewing a hit on Vikings center John Sullivan. The league will review it, but if they deem it bad enough, Suh could be suspended for a game, or fined. @AdamSchefter: Lions DT Ndamukong Suh is facing NFL […]
Jury Still Out on Ponder
So, despite the Vikings losing to the Detroit Lions 24-34 in spectacular fashion on Sunday, I think the jury is still out on Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder. I've come to this conclusion after one regular season game. That conclusion is basically that he needs more time to show his talents, to have all of the stars line up, and to show the Vikings...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings will watch the tape from Sunday's 34-24 loss at Detroit on Sunday and see plenty of miscues.Minnesota did have some bright spots -- hello Jerome Simpson -- but struggled in too many facets to go on the road and beat the Lions. Four turnovers were the biggest culprit in the season-opening loss and ultimately lead to poor grades in our...
Adrian Peterson started the 2013 season in MVP style.
The Minnesota star went 78 yards for a touchdown on the Vikings' first offensive play Sunday against the Detroit Lions, giving his team a 7-0 lead. Minnesota got the ball on its 22 after the Lions flubbed a field goal attempt. Peterson took a handoff, found an opening up the middle, cut to the right to avoid a tackler and...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. --John Sullivan said there were no lingering effects, or animosity, after he suffered an bruised knee on a low hit by Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh in the Minnesota Vikings' 34-24 loss on Sunday.
Sullivan said Suh approached him during the game on Sunday after the defensive tackle, known for his questionable hits, dove into the back of Sullivan...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- For about 17 minutes of Sunday's game, the Minnesota Vikings were boosted by the reigning MVP, running back Adrian Peterson, and the Detroit Lions were the mistake-filled team they've become known for.But mistakes ultimately doomed Minnesota and the newest player on Detroit, running back Reggie Bush, changed the Lions' fate. The Vikings had four...
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on his first carry of the day Sunday against the Lions and added two more touchdowns later in the game.Fantasy Spin:Detroit held Peterson to just 15 yards on his next 17 carries, but the superstar scored a short touchdown and added a receiving score to finish with three touchdowns.
(With AP Photos.) By DAVE CAMPBELL AP Pro Football Writer The Minnesota Vikings are set up to win without commanding performances by Christian Ponder.
This run-first team that relies on stingy defense, favorable field position and strong special teams play doesn't need Ponder to put on a passing clinic each week. But if he continues to play the way he did in the season opener...
Adrian Peterson took his first handoff of the 2013 season, cut to the right and outran the Detroit secondary for a 78-yard touchdown.
That was pretty much the highlight for the Minnesota Vikings. Peterson's three-touchdown day wasn't enough to offset a slew of careless mistakes on both sides of the ball.
Peterson ended up with only 93 yards rushing, and the Vikings turned...
Vikings center John Sullivan said he felt fortunate to come out of a low block to his knee without any major injury and confirmed that Ndamukong Suh apologized to him.
Joe Webb is a receiver, but as the Vikings’ season progresses, he could provide valuable option looks on the scout team after the bye.
Discipline and the lack there of has been a HUGE issue during Suh’s NFL career and that same problem continued Sunday against the Vikings. After Christian Ponder threw a pick six, Suh went low on Minnesota’s John Sullivan which resulted in a personal foul penalty and the touchdown negated. And in typical Lions fashion Matthew […]
With the return of football season and demoralizing Vikings football comes the even more soul crushing game of fantasy football, and the inept team you drafted! Well, that MOST of you drafted. The Detroit Lions pulled off an important Week 1 win over the Minnesota Vikings, 34-24, behind a stellar outing from Reggie Bush and impressive showing by the defense. The Lions’ D bounced back from Adrian Peterson’s 78-yard TD run on the first play from scrimmage to mostly stuff Minnesota in the second half, as Detroit rallied to take a lead.
Here are the key plays from Detroit’s...
