Justin Blackmon got himself into some hot water last month, when he was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI. Fortunately for the Jaguars rookie receiver, the water shouldn't get any hotter. Per beat writer Vito Stellino, Blackmon pleaded guilty to the drunken driving charges Tuesday, and will escape jail time if he completes a court-ordered deferred sentence. Under the terms of the one-year sentence, Blackmon must perform 50 hours of community service and pay a $500 fine. Additionally, he will enter the NFL's Substance Abuse Program. Blackmon, who remains unsigned, is not allowed to report to training camp until a deal is reached, and the team wants "protection" in the event of any future issues.
