The Victory Formation:
The recent signing of Drew Stanton in Arizona has made Kevin Kolb as expendable as ever for the Cardinals, as many believe that Stanton is a shoe-in to be the starting QB, as he followed new head coach Bruce Arians from Indianapolis. Though Kolb is still owed quite a bit of money, it doesn’t look like his future is in the desert according to recent reports. But it could be in the Meadowlands. The Jets’ beat writer from the New York Daily News, Manish Mehta, says that the Jets could not only add Kolb to the mix of Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, David Garrard, Greg McElory, and Matt Simms, but that Kolb would be the frontrunner to start on opening day. If price is right, he’ll be on Jets… and likely Week 1 starter RT @rapsheet Cardinals expect to cut QB Kevin Kolb over next few days #nyj — Manish Mehta(@MMehtaNYDN) March 14, 2013 At no point has Kolb looked like a viable starer in Arizona, but they paid a hefty price to get him. They were sold on his ability playing in Marty Mornhinweg’s offense in Philadelphia. Jets fans certainly wouldn’t feel anymore comfortable with Kolb under center [...]

As Mark Sanchez and the Jets' left-for-dead passing attack search for answers, new offensive coordinator Marty Morhinweg is ready to change the dynamics of the team's sputtering passing game with a shift in scheme and philosophy.
If you need further proof that the Jets will not have Mark Sanchez starting at quarterback, just look at the move to let Dustin Keller go to the rival Dolphins. Keller in many respects was Sanchez security blanket in the Jets offense. Sanchez had a comfort level with Keller. When a play would break down Sanchez would fall back to Keller. There has been rumblings of the Jets being...

Jerry Jones likes to claim credit for the dynasty of the early '90s.They've gone .500 since Super Bowl XXX, and have only had two playoff wins (one each after the 1996 and 2009 seasons). Now the would-be architect (and admittedly good businessman) has made future improvements difficult in order to compensate for remarkably similar past moves.Signing bonuses are very popular...
It’s gotten bad for the Jets. We’ve tried to look away, but there’s just so much wreckage. It’s OK. It’s going to be like Sandy and the Mets. Resign yourself to a few years of pain in the hopes of a brighter tomorrow.
Besides all the free agent defections, and the lack of any significant signings , the quarterback situation continues to cause angst. It’s really bad. We...
