Kirk Cousins helped his Washington Redskins get to 8 wins with his first Start in the N.F>L. filling in for an injured Robert Griffin III. The Redskins couldn’t have asked for more out of this rookie they drafted as a back-up in the 4th round of the 2012 N.F.L.. Cousins completely out played the Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden who has started all season for the Browns. Cousins completed 26 of the 37 passes he threw for 329 yards and 2 touchdowns. All this after throwing an interception when a pass was deflected by a Browns defender and returned into Redskins territory that led to a Cleveland Touchdown. Cousins never lost his composure and returned to the game to find the form of a seasoned veteran to lead his Redskins to a victory. Cousins faced some pressure and was able to roll out of the pocket to find an open receiver down field to keep the Redskins hopes of their 8th win moving in a positive direction. A group of Browns fans were involved in a nasty altercation with the family of veteran linebacker London Fletcher.
Fletcher is a Cleveland native that was in town as a part of the Washington Redskins that defeated the Browns 38-21.
As a result of the incident Fletcher’s aunt 57-year-old-Evette Robinson, suffered a heart attack.
